Where to book tickets

Tickets are available online or at the attraction. We recommend buying tickets online as it has many benefits.

Online ticket prices tend to be cheaper than tickets at the venue.

When you buy online, you can avoid the long queues at the attraction’s ticket counters.

Because some attractions sell a limited number of tickets, during peak days they may sell out. Booking early helps avoid last-minute disappointments.

How do online tickets work

Go to the ticket booking page, select the preferred date and number of tickets, and buy the tickets.

After the purchase, you will receive the tickets by email.

There is no requirement to bring any printouts.

On the day of your visit, you can walk in and show the e-ticket on your smartphone at the entrance and enjoy the view.

SkyPoint Observation Deck price

Tickets are priced at AUD$28 for those above 14 years.

For those between three and 13, it costs AUD$21. Kids under three can get in for free.

There is no entry for those below 18 years on Fridays and Saturdays after 8 pm.

Special rates are available for guests with disability pensions or senior cardholders on-site at the ticket counter.

On average, it takes approximately 1 to 2 hours to completely enjoy the beautiful view of the Gold Coast from the Observation Deck.

Best time to visit SkyPoint

For the best experience, visit during the twilight hours at sunset.

SkyPoint Observation Deck’s Bistro + Bar is a unique dining experience, offering guests breathtaking 360-degree views of the Gold Coast from a height of 230 meters.

The restaurant’s contemporary design and elegant atmosphere create a perfect setting for a special occasion celebration,  a romantic dinner, or a night out with friends.

The Bistro + Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a range of dishes to choose from.

The menu includes seafood, pizzas, burgers, salads, and desserts, among other options.

The SkyPoint Bar offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, craft beers, wine, and soft drinks.

The Bistro + Bar also offers a special children’s menu, which makes it a great choice for families.

In addition to its delicious food and beverages, SkyPoint Observation Deck’s Bistro + Bar offers guests various entertainment options.

The Bistro + Bar is wheelchair accessible, with gentle ramps joining the two levels inside the observation deck and providing access to the restaurant.

Opening hours are from 7.30 am to 9.30 pm daily.

Please note: Last food orders are accepted 45 minutes before closing, and last drinks orders are taken 30 minutes before closing.

Sky Point Climb

Experience the thrill of Australia’s highest external building climb with the SkyPoint Climb.

In just 90 minutes, you’ll rise to 230 meters (754 feet) above sea level, enjoying breathtaking 360-degree views of the Gold Coast.

Here’s what to expect:

1. Safety & gear setup

After a safety briefing at SkyPoint Climb Mission Control, you’ll wear a climb suit and full-body harness for a safe ascent.

2. Elevator to launch platform

Reach the launch platform on level 77 via SkyPoint’s elevator. Enter the glass airlock and start your climb.

3. The climb begins

Guided by an expert, you’ll ascend toward the summit. Learn about the city’s landmarks as you go.

4. Journey upwards

Navigate to the spire using the internal handrail. For the daring, experience the thrill of a 230-meter (754 feet) sheer drop by walking along the edge.

5. Soak in the views

At the summit, enjoy the stunning 360-degree views and snap memorable photos.

6. Celebration

Share your adventure with family through the glass ceiling at the Observation Deck.

Note: Participants must be at least 130 cm (4.2 feet)  tall. Children aged 12 to 15 must be with a responsible adult. Children under 12 are not allowed.

This Ticket does not include SkyPoint Climb adventure. Visitors should buy separate tickets.

Cocktails with a view!

If you do one touristy thing in Gold Coast, this is worth the cost.

We didn’t book and on clear skies, decided to spontaneously head up Q1 building – Skypoint observation deck – stunning outlook and views along the coast and hinterland.

Recommend taking your time and having a cocktail/bevy, a few nibblies or a light lunch for a relaxing time to pass away in the afternoon!
